Finding time for everything can be tough, but we’re here for you.

As urban professionals become parents, one of the most important questions they’ll face is the balance of career and family life. The cost and availability of quality childcare stretches most families financially or forces one parent to leave the workforce altogether. By introducing a new flexible, community-based space like Hopscotch, we’re seeking to open up opportunities for moms and dads to take on a side-hustle or work in meaningful spurts that contribute to the financial success of their family.  As a coworking space designed specifically for parents, Hopscotch Labs  is the new face of working parenthood.

About the Owners

Debbie Lee

Debbie was born and raised in California and has been in Boston long enough to feel like a Boston native. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University and a Master's in Education - Curriculum and Instruction - from Boston College. She has taught in a variety of educational settings, including Montessori.

After years of teaching, Debbie began working in Boston's bustling healthcare ecosystem and health-tech innovation. The lessons learned in healthcare innovations have inspired her to discover better childcare options for working families.

Anna Raborn

Anna is a North Carolina native, mother of three, and a former classical vocalist. She holds a BA from Elon University in North Carolina and half a Master's degree from BU. Anna spent her first years out of school performing opera, oratorio, and music theatre across the US and Europe before settling into Boston's innovation ecosystem.

Before founding Hopscotch Labs, Anna was the Director of Business Development for Manifest Boston, and HubWeek, Boston’s only large-scale civic collaboration focused on celebrating innovation at the intersection of art, science, and technology.
